Crown Oil began trading in 1928 and was run by Harry Greensmith; affectionately known as “Harry Lamp Oil”. Harry traded door-to-door from a wooden cart, providing household goods, such as firelighters, candles, and lamp oil. After World War II, Harry expanded the product range of the company to include the bulk supply of fuels and lubricants.
Crown Gas & Power was originally established as the energy division of Crown Oil Ltd in 2001, this was in response to the deregulation of the gas markets. We have continued to assert ourselves as one of the leading independent commercial gas suppliers. We continue to thrive as a family run business and currently employ over 60 staff members of all ages, backgrounds, and experience. We are also listed in the 2014 Sunday Times Top Track 250 Mid-Market Growth Companies, showcasing the biggest companies operating in the UK.

If you have been successful in your application for a vacant position, you will be asked to attend an interview. Your interview will be competency-based, meaning your interviewer will be trying to find out about your relevant skills and experiences and assessing how well these fit with the role you are interviewing for. They will explain a little about the company's history and values and the benefits our employees enjoy.
In an interview we want you to impress us, but we also want you to be yourself. Allow yourself plenty of time to arrive around 15 minutes before your interview and always dress smartly. Try not to be nervous and make sure you tell us exactly why you deserve this job!

The main role of a Siteworks Coordinator at Crown Gas & Power is to liaise with various network owners and contractors to provide full utility connection solutions.
The individuals will need a full understanding of our organisation, our company’s products & services, within the industry and will be expected to understand the internal workings of their customers. All training will be provided to any successful applicant/s.
