Crown Gas & Power is skydiving for charity

Blue sky clouds

Saturday 22nd October 2022 sees five of our amazing team jump out of a plane to raise funds for our chosen charities Bury Hospice and Rochdale and District Mind.

Together the brave five will tandem skydive from 15,000 feet, the highest jump on offer to amateur skydivers. This is followed by a full 60 seconds of freefalling where they will reach speeds of up to 120mph – all assisted by the team at Black Knights Parachute Centre in Cockerham, Lancashire.

The five brave skydivers are: Daniel Madden, Kazandra Leslie, James Wallace, Bryony Cookson and Stuart Batty.

The team is aiming to raise funds to help our two chosen charities, Rochdale and District Mind who provide mental health and advocacy services for people living in the Borough of Rochdale and Bury Hospice who help support local people and their families to achieve the best possible quality of life at a time when it matters most.

Keep an eye out for our next blog about the skydive closer to the time, which will feature links to their donation pages!
